Presented by: James Greenblatt, M.D.††
Thursday, July 27, 2017 • 4:00 p.m. EDT
In this webinar, learn how to integrate genetic information to improve the precision of functional medicine approaches to mood and cognitive support. Dr. James Greenblatt, M.D., will distill the complex field of nutritional genomics into clinical pearls and case studies that demonstrate effective translation of genetics to simple, personalized nutritional strategies for mental health.*
- Understand how genetic testing can help predict responses to conventional therapies and inform successful nutritional protocols in integrative psychiatry*
- Recognize that genetic testing provides clues that can help you address complex or difficult-to-treat cases
- Learn how testing for variations in genes such as brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), catechol O-methyltransferase (COMT) and tryptophan hydroxylase (TPH2) enables targeted nutritional support for mood and memory*
- Learn how COMT and MTHFR genotypes provide important information that can fine-tune a variety of clinical decisions, leading to better outcomes*
